Durley History Society was formed in 2000 by John Hammond and other interested Durley residents. Since its inception the membership has grown steadily and the Society now meets in the Memorai Hall four times a year.

Members have enjoyed a number of talks from a a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics of local historical interest.

Outings are also organised from time to time to places of interest including museums, galleries and historical sites.

New members are always welcome and they are able to join at any member's meeting or by contacting the Society via the link on this page. Just click on the scroll below.

The Society's logo depicts a deer in a meadow...."deer - lea" or Durley.
